WhyzDog will do private training at a client’s home.
Private training at a client’s home unfortunately does not allow for certain things that can only take place in a class environment.
Socialisation around other dogs and people is not possible, so the handler and the dog don’t get exposure to unfamiliar dogs and people. Even though advice can be given in this regard, in a class environment it is possible to observe both dog and handler’s reactions to “social” stimuli and offer appropriate behavioural training input.
Some of the temperament work with regard to noises et cetera is also not possible at a client’s home.
In some instances, clients need specific help with their dogs in a specific environment/setting. This will then involve tailored private behavioural training input in that environment. These sessions are usually more focused on behaviour, with training as a tool to manage and condition behaviour.
